At Jolene Sound Room, circulation became performance. The vaulted passage is wrapped in black tile so completely that architecture begins to read as atmosphere.

More than 2,000 tiles were laid by hand by the Studio Santos team across the stair vault. Their glossy surfaces catch every shift in light, multiplying the movement of the people below them. A disco ball breaks the glow into fragments, while precisely placed spotlights travel across the curved ceiling and graphic floor.

The entrance is intentionally compressed and immersive. It slows the arrival, creates anticipation, and separates the ordinary pace of the street from the collective energy of the room below. What could have remained a stair becomes the first track of the night.
